Hello, my name is Marko Mihailovic. I am a digital illustrator and 2D animator currently
doing a BA in Illustration at the University of Gloucestershire. After graduating, I plan on
doing a masters in animation to further expand my knowledge and skills. While I mostly
do digital illustrations, I also like to engage in various traditional methods, like pencil,
pen, and charcoal. My art style is mostly inspired by comic books and animated tv
shows such as Scott Pilgrim and Spider-Man. The bold and angular linework of those
series stood out to me and I decided to implement it into my own art. As for my
animation style, I also often take inspiration from cartoon shows I watched as a kid like
Gravity Falls, and 2D animated Disney movies. While I like to draw fanart of my
favourite video game characters, I also enjoy drawing morbid and slightly disturbing
monsters and creatures. I want to pursue animation as a career and either become a
freelance animator, posting my art and animations online and taking on commissions, or
work in a studio as an animator for tv or online shows and video games. For my
illustrations and animations, I primarily use Procreate and Procreate Dreams, and have
experience in using Adobe Animate, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Clip Studio Paint.
Outside of university, I have been to various art markets and sold my own stickers. I
have worked as an assistant in Pitville Press, as well as a gallery invigilator in the
